5. Legal basis and purpose of personal data processing

The basis for the processing of personal data is the consent to use the register for the reception of congress registrations and related marketing.

6. Data content of the register, data to be stored

Name information, address information, e-mail address, telephone/mobile phone, company/working community.

7. Regular sources of information

Information is collected from participants upon registration.

8. Disclosure and transfer of data outside the EU or EEA

The data is not transferred outside the EU or the EEA, and it is not handed over to an external party, with the exception of the server controlled and secured by our service provider, where the personal data is stored.

However, information can be disclosed in a manner required by the requirements of the competent authorities or other parties, based on valid legislation. Information can be also hand over for the purpose of collecting payments.

9. Register protection principles and data storage

Manual material is not kept. The register is protected by means of modern technical solutions (firewalls, personal IDs and passwords, other technical solutions of the service provider).

Access to the register is only available to those persons employed by the FAIDD who need the information in question to perform their duties. The persons in question have a duty of confidentiality and their own personal IDs and passwords. Information is transferred to the Paytrail payment system to receive registrations.

Personal information will be destroyed after the Congress’s financial statements are ready.

10. Right of inspection, right of prohibition and removal from the register

The registered person has the right to check the information about himself stored in the personal register and to demand the correction or deletion of incorrect information, if there are legal grounds for doing so. The registered person also has the right to withdraw consent or change it. According to the General Data Protection Regulation (EU 679/2016), the data subject has the right to object or request the restriction of data processing and to file a complaint about the processing of personal data with the supervisory authority.

For special personal reasons, the data subject also has the right to object to profiling and other processing actions when the data processing is based on a customer relationship between the data subject and the controller. The registrar can refuse to implement the objection request on the grounds specified in the law. The registered person also has the right to object free of charge to the processing of data, including profiling to the extent that it is related to direct marketing.
